Serving California for more than twenty-five years… Founded by Irv Gerson in 1978 as United Printing and Lithography, our company remained in Van Nuys, CA until moving to its present location in Sylmar, CA in 1984. United Printing and Lithography started out with letterpress and one-color offset presses, producing short-run one and two color work.
Changing with the times… During the next 14 years we changed our name twice; once in 1986 when the company merged with Marc Zacuto’s company, Forms West, to become United Forms West; and again in 1998 when the name was changed to Print-Scape, Inc. to better represent our company’s broad range of products and services.
New partners/same close-knit family… Gene Hein came on board in 1989 as a sales representative and was made partner in 1993. Amy Sazzmann and Charlie Gerson, Irv’s daughter and son, joined the company in 1992 and 1994 respectively. They succeeded their father in the company and also became partners. The Print-Scape management team, as it stands today, offers nearly fifty years of combined experience in the printing business. Low employee and customer turnover, constant evolution to meet the ever changing demands of today’s printing requirements, and a commitment to serve our customers in a friendly, efficient manner typify the business relationship provided by Print-Scape, Inc.
